The Woolco Logo
A division of the F. W. Woolworth Company, Woolco discount stores had their heyday in the 1960's and 70's. The cool logo is noteworthy:

Wow. Amazing how something such as this logo brings a flood of memories. I remember shopping here as a kid and it was a big store, exciting, the tragic little "Pet Shop". I also remember whenever we shopped here or at Towers, looking for my Mum by the height of her hairsprayed tower of hair. Great.
I would have loved to see that hair!
