Expo 67 Department Store Display
The image above is a rare shot of an Expo 67 promotional display at the now-defunct Denholm & McKay store in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Such displays would have been commissioned by the public relations department for Expo 67, to drum up enthusiasm for the upcoming fair.
Check out the ultra-sexy Expo 67 hostess cardboard cutout, below! That, too, was meant to drum up, er... enthusiasm.

I bet you'd do anything for one of those cut outs! Great post :)
Ya, you know me!
That beautiful poster was yet another example of expo 67 officials feeling that they were above any law in that they notoriously copied the style for her right out of Playboy Magazine (in front of the joke page) without the thought of ever paying the artist. It was this "arrogance" on the part of expo officials that helped prompt us to publish "expo inside out"!
Did anyone else notice that her legs are about 70% of her body length? I guess they made girls differently back in the 60s.
And she's got a tan, too!
Speaking of hostesses, I finally watched the 4-DVD "Revisitez Expo 67" set this week. I think I'm in love with Miss Joanna Woodman. Good God, she was delicious!
I SO wanted to be a hostess. Guess my legs weren't long enough, though! I ended up counting cash and tickets in the Expo Treasury instead.
